Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT) is an evidence-based treatment developed for individuals with over-controlled temperaments, often seen in disorders like chronic depression, anorexia nervosa, OCD, and treatment-resistant anxiety. This 32-week group curriculum focuses on building openness, flexibility, and genuine connection, breaking the isolation and perfectionism that often limit healing.
Program Format
- Total Duration: Four Sections totaling 32 weeks
- Sections: Four 8 week modules
- Session Length: 90-minutes per session
- Format: In-person or virtual group setting
- Group Size: 6–10 participants per cohort
Ideal Clients
- Adults struggling with emotional over-control
- Individuals with chronic depression or anxiety who haven't responded to traditional therapy
- Clients with maladaptive perfectionism or social withdrawal
- People with high-functioning autism traits or restrictive eating behaviors
